After cutting her teeth with a string of big-money cashes at major events, Vanessa’s biggest live cash so far came when she won the High Roller event at the 2009 EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final. It was a victory worth a massive $749,467, and cemented Vanessa’s status as a true master of the game. Vanessa has also won big online. She’s a regular in all of PokerStars major events, including the Sunday Million, and finished as runner-up in the Main Event of the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) in 2007, cashing for a huge payday of $700,782. Vanessa also studies Game Theory, which she believes helps her poker game, and attended Duke University.
